• This Route takes you up Spectacular Lime Kiln Canyon (the “Volcanic Canyon”) and to the Sunset Cliffs where the beautiful Bryce Canyon “Red Rocks” of the Claron Formation are on brilliant display.
• The unique volcanic ash rock towers in Lime Kiln Canyon, with their large sections of Blue/Green Hoodoo’s provide an other-worldly experience, with an unusual combination of geological elements not seen anywhere else in the world. After touring Lime Kiln Canyon, you’ll head South along the Valley to the Sunset Cliffs. The red amphitheaters of Casto and Losee Canyons provide great photo opportunities of the Claron Formation Hoodoos. Traveling further South along the Cliffs you’ll also find the massive Black Mountain Lava Flow and turn around at the entrance of Red Canyon and Highway 12. This Ride can cover up to 45 Miles.
• This horseshoe shaped route is our most popular 4 hour ride during the early and late seasons of Spring and Winter when the upper Canyons and Peterson Point are impassable because of heavy snow cover and mud. This route departs from American ATV Rentals at 467 N Main St Panguitch Utah 84759
• Your guide will lead you through Town the 1 mile to the River Lane Trailhead on the NE corner of Panguitch
• Maps and Navigation Orientation takes place at the River Lane Trail Head next to our Hospital, Garfield Regional Medical Center.
• When your Maps Orientation is complete, and you are clear and comfortable the Navigation of your highlighted route, your 4 hour rental time starts.

  “Peterson Point and Back Ride” for those who are interested.
• This Route is excellent all seasons as well. 75% of this Route is on smoother Panguitch Valley Trails where you will use High Range. 25% of your ride will be in Lime Kiln Canyon. You will use Low Range for this slower more rugged Canyon section.
• During Summer (ONLY) there are dry restrooms at the River Lane and Casto Canyon Trailheads
