Trail Report for Lime Kiln Canyon in the Bryce Canyon Backcountry for April 28, 2023.
The snows have melted away on the 8 mile ascent to the top of Lime Kiln Canyon at 8000 feet. The trail conditions are excellent, very little dust, very little mud, and no snow left blocking the trail. At about 7600 feet you do start to see patchy snow off in the woods on the north facing shaded slopes, but it’s not a factor that affects trail conditions, rather it adds to the beautiful views in all directions.
