YOU MUST BE A STRONG INTERMEDIATE DIRT BIKE RIDER TO SAFELY RIDE A TTR 230 IN THE 3000 MILES OF MOUNTAIN AND CANYON TRAILS IN OUR VAST BACK COUNTRY. You will have to pass a Riding & Knowledge test administered by our owner, David Walker. At his sole discretion you will pass or fail this test. Please see details BELOW to learn what intermediate skills we require for you to be allowed to take a dirt bike into our back country without a coach or instructor.

This Vehicle Type may be Booked for 2 hours, 4 hour 1/2 Days, 8 Hour Full Days, 24 Hours, or Multiple Days and Overnights for Ride Out/Ride In Use in Panguitch UT and the Bryce Canyon Back-country.

Minimum Age to Rent a TTR230 Dirtbike is 18. Minimum age to ride is 16 With Parent or Legal Guardian Release of Liability and Damage Agreement. Security Deposit is $500.
The Time You Book is YOUR ARRIVAL TIME. Please be punctual. Your Trail Time is 1 Hour after your arrival time following your Vehicle & Maps / Navigation Orientations.
Feel free to arrive early if you think you’ll need more time for preparation. Make sure you complete the Free Utah OHV Safety Course BEFORE ARRIVAL. Call David before booking a TTR Dirtbike if you have questions not answered in FAQ’s NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED ONCE VEHICLES ARE BOOKED AND PAID, INCLUDING IF YOU CANNOT MEET AGE & SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS AT THE TIME YOU PICK UP THE VEHICLE. WE REQUIRE A STURDY CROSS TRAINING SHOE OR BOOT. NO OPEN TOE SANDALS/ SHOES/ CROCS/ TEVAS. WE ALSO RECOMMEND A BACKPACK FOR YOUR VALUABLES/PHONE WITH SUNBLOCK, WATER, SNACK, AND LONG PANTS WITH VELCRO OR ZIPPER POCKETS.
WE RECOMMEND a water proof WINDBREAKER OR Disposable Rain PONHCO for any trip into the back country. We can loan you a Backpack or you can pack your own. This ATV has racks so your supplies/gear in the backpack can be strapped onto this machine. NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS – IT’S AGAINST THE LAW TO RIDE WITH THESE!
If you provide 72 HOURS advance notice of Change/Cancellation/ Reschedule/ Vehicle Change we will ACCOMMODATE YOU with Store Credit ONLY (No refunds) for future rental- time / vehicle TBD. If you have a change / cancel within 72 Hours CALL US ASAP and we’ll do our best to accommodate your change/ cancel / reschedule with a cancellation fee. In the rare event of Weather or Mechanical Delay we will Extend the Rental Return Time to make up for lost time or issue an appropriate Store Credit only for a different day or vehicle. HOWEVER WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON. We Ride Rain or Shine and vehicle wash facility is available to avoid cleaning fees in the event of excessive mud riding on wet days.
SECURITY DEPOSIT WITH VISA OR MASTERCARD CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD REQUIRED ON ALL VEHICLES AT TIME OF PICKUP. Store Credit for Future Rental Only if rider does not have ID, Security Deposit, or Meet age Requirements. WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON!

INTERMEDIATE RIDERS:
Recommended Minimum Rider Height is 5′ 4″. YOU MUST PASS AN ON BIKE RIDING TEST AND MOTORCYCLE BASIC KNOWLEDGE TEST to confirm you possess ADEQUATE INTERMEDIATE RIDING skills. If riders do not execute all maneuvers and follow all instruction they will fail this test. If a rider is at all unsteady during this test, They will not pass.
If a rider does not pass because they cannot display adequate skills and knowledge about motorcycle controls including brakes, clutches, gears, hot starting and cold starting procedures, rider may be placed on a Sport/ Touring Automatic or semi Automatic Quad by staff, BASED ON AVAILABILITY.
If your show up to rent a TTR dirt bike with LESS THAN INTERMEDIATE SKILLS YOU MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A COMPETENT MOTORCYCLE RIDER THAT CAN PASS THE TEST AND RIDE THE DIRTBIKE TO THE TEACHING AREA FOR YOU. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE AND THE OWNERS DECISION.

The TTR 230 Motorcycles we rent are Great bikes to learn to ride off-road with….IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED OFF-ROAD MOTORCYCLIST WHO WILL BE TEACHING AN “INEXPERIENCED” RIDER TO RIDE, THIS IS OK. PLEASE NOTIFY US OF THIS CIRCUMSTANCE IN ADVANCE. “NEVER-EVER” OR “NO EXPERIENCE” DIRT BIKE RIDERS MUST HAVE AN EXPERIENCED MOTORCYCLIST RIDING PARTNER TO ACT AS INSTRUCTOR TO RENT A MOTORCYCLE FOR LEARNING PURPOSES.
Equpment Recommendations: WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU RENT 1 DIRTBIKE AND 1 ATV FOR TEACHING. “NEVER-EVER” RIDERS CAN QUICKLY LEARN BASIC OPERATION OF ATV’S SO THAT THE 2 MACHINES CAN BE RIDDEN TO A SUITABLE LEARNING AREA FOR YOUR DIRT-BIKE TEACHING DAY.
KEEP IN MIND THAT IF YOU RENT TWO MOTORCYCLES FOR THIS PURPOSE, YOU’LL NEED TO GET THE BIKES TO THE DIRT. EXPERIENCED RIDERS CAN RIDE ON THE STREETS IN AND OUT OF OUR TOWN. INEXPERIENCED OR NEVER EVER RIDERS CAN RIDE ATV’S BUT NOT MOTORCYCLES, AND THEREFORE YOU NEED TO HAVE A PLAN ABOUT HOW TO GET THE BIKES 3 MILES TO THE SAFE DIRT AREAS FOR TEACHING. CALL AND ASK US FOR DETAILS ON THE WAYS TO DO THIS BEFORE BOOKING!
“NEVER EVER & BEGINNER” RIDERS WILL BE DIRECTED TO AREAS IN THE VALLEY THAT HAVE DIRT ROADS & TRAILS SUITABLE FOR TEACHING AND PRACTICE. WE HAVE OVER 50 MILES OF TRAILS SUITABLE FOR LEARNING. WE WILL SHOW YOU IN DETAIL WHERE TO RIDE WHILE LEARNING / TEACHING WITH YOUR FRIEND, TEACHER OR PARENT.
